PM arrive in Tashkent. Meet & transfer to hotel. Overnight in hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion of Tashkent: visit Khasti Imam complex (Holy Osman Koran, Barakhan Medresah, Kaffal al-Shashiy Mausoleum), Chorsu Bazar, some Metro stations, Independence Square, Alisher Navoi theatre Square. Evening express train to Samarkand. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion program in Samarkand: visit Observatory of Ulugbek, Saint Daniel’s mausoleum, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Bibi-Khanum Mosque – the largest mosque in Central Asia, oriental bazaar Siyab, Registan Square (Sherdor Madrassah, Tilla Kari Madrassah and Ulugbek Madrassah) & Guri-Emir mausoleum. Overnight in the hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Bukhara and en route visit Imam Al-Bukhariy mausoleum, Abdulkhaliq Gijdivaniy Mausoleum (founder of sufism in Cental Asia) in Gijduvan, Arif Revgariy tomb in Shafirkan (author of Nafahat al-uns & Arifnoma manuscripts), Anjir Fagnaviy (spiritual sucessor of Sufi tradition) in Vabkent. Upon arrival in Bukhara, accommodation and overnight in the hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Full day visit shrines: Ali Romitaniy (Hoja Azizona-Honorable Sheikh) & Boboyi Samosiy (who predicted Bakhouddin Naqshbandiy’s birth) in Romitan, Amiri Kulol (Kulol-Potter), Bakhauddin Naqshbandiy (founder of Naqshbandiya direction of Sufism) & Bibi Orifa (Bakhouddin Naqshbandiy’s mother) in Kogon. Overnight in the hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion program in Bukhara: Samanids’ Mausoleum, Chashmai Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo-Khovuz mosque, Ark Fortress, Poi-Kalyon complex (Kalyan mosque and minaret, Miri Arab madrassa), Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrassas, Magoki Attori mosque, Trade Domes (Toki-Zargaron, Toki-Telpakifurushon and Toki-Sarrofon), Labi Khovuz complex.  PM train to Tashkent. Upon arrival in Tashkent, transfer to hotel and overnight.

Morning transfer to Tashkent International Airport for departure flight to next destination. End of the tour.

Features of the tour:

As Uzbekistan – a land of “thousands shrines”, having aspirations to become a “second Mecca”, boasts hundreds of places & numerous shrines attracting pilgrims from home & abroad! This tour contains the shrines of the most famous founders and scholars of Sufism in Islamic World.

Best season to travel:

One can travel and enjoy this program all year around but it is a little bit uncomfortable to travel in the hottest period of summer (in July) and in winter months. But during these off-season periods, travelers can get special discounted rates for packages by request.

Level of difficulties and age limitation:

This is an easy level tour and there is no age limitation as far as a person has no walking distance problem. Visitors (palmers) should walk around approximately from 3 to 5 km a day by this program.

Remark:

As this is a pilgrimage (religious tour), it is advisable to wear appropriate clothes while visiting the shrines.
